February 1964: USS Gearing DD-710 with submarine and Grumman S2F off Newport, RI.
Motor whaleboat is swung out and DASH is on flight deck.
This photo was set up by Lt. John Kenney, DD-710 Operations officer,
 with the help of a Naval photo detachment from Quonset Point N.A.S.
Anyone remember the name of the sub? The CVS and air squadrons
(the S2F has a "42" on its nose) who did the flying?
